My sister and my mom TOTALLY surprised me to tears (literally) when they showed up at my house on March 3.
I couldn't believe they were there, tangible. I had just been through a big move 8+ months pregnant and didn't realize how much I really needed the company.
This was Jamey's first time visiting since we have lived here (about 8 years) so we had to hit up some of the tourist sites. Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Carmel River Beach.
Pedicures. No so touristy, but so fun. Lily even got one for the first time.
The lone cypress in Pebble Beach.
Showin' off the belly.
I was so proud to introduce them to my friends at my baby shower that weekend. One of the sweetest ladies I know (Pauline) threw me a high-noon tea party shower.

Mom was the "matron of honor" so she served the tea.
It was a beautiful shower. Everyone was so generous. I was so happy my mom and sister could be there. If only they could have stayed longer than just the weekend.
March 23 was Daisy's 3rd Birthday. She chose to have a turtle party and wanted her friends Preston and Tes to be there.
I took Daisy down to the aquarium to take pics with her and the turtles then put them all around for the party.
Tes and Preston came along with their families.
Daisy, you keep the adventure and wonder alive in our lives. Happy 3rd Birthday little DP!
HOLLY is HERE
On March 25 we welcomed Holly Raye to our family. I had been feeling contractions all day on the 24th and into the night. I kept waiting for them to get consistent and more intense which happened at about 4am. At 5am we checked into the hospital, at about 7am I got my WONDERFUL epidural. After taking a nap and watching the Ellen show,(modern medicine is amazing!) Holly was born at 11:08am. 8lbs. 9oz., 20 1/2in. She has been such a good baby! We feel so blessed to call her a Conroy.
Dr. Laughlin and Sean cutting the cord.
My mom brought Daisy in to see Holly and Daisy's first reaction was "Awww, how tute! She even had the nurse all teary eyed.
Then...Sean captured this...and we decided she probably wasn't ready to share her toys quite yet.
Lily came straight to the hospital from school and instantly fell in love with her new sister.
Family of 5!
We came home on the 26th and tried to get in as much sleep as possible.
I am so indebted and grateful to my mom. I was so sad to see her leave. That was when reality set in... and the laundry and dishes started piling up.
