Finally! Professional Photos!

My friend Laurel has a sis-in-law Amie that is an amazing wedding photographer and she is expanding her business to families and children. For a birthday gift to my girls, Laurel and Amie teamed up and did a photo shoot. Well, let me just say, these ladies are true professionals because my girls were not cooperating and I was sure nothing was going to turn out. When I saw the pics for the first time I was so touched *tear* because A.) we have NEVER had professional pictures done as a family and B.) they turned out SO amazing! I am going to treasure these forever! Here is a taste of my favorites.

Thanks to my sis Sariah for putting together this collage and my new header!

I LOVE these vintage looking shots of Daisy!

I am SOOO excited to get some of these framed and put up in my house!

Oodles of October

Every first Saturday of October our little town has the butterfly parade to welcome the monarch butterflies.

All of the elementary schools dress up and participate in the parade. This year the High School got involved too. The kindergarten classes always dress up like monarch butterflies. Lily will get to do that next year and is very excited about it.
Can you tell the band was a little loud?

This month has had quite a few gorgeous days which of course called for the beach.

At Marina beach there are some fun dunes the kids ride down on their boogie boards. Here is Lily with her buddy Meg.
(thanks for the cute pic Shawna).

Daisy with her gal pals Sally and Tes watching the big kids ride the dunes.

Miss Mischief!!! Yesterday I had to take her into the ER because she had climbed on the bathroom counter, took the "child-proof" lid off of Lily's Tylenlol Flu medicine, and spilled and guzzled until the bottle was empty. I found her with the bottle in her mouth. So, I called poison control and we tried to estimate how much she actually drank, they suggested I should take her to the hospital in order to monitor her heart rate. After screaming and thrashing around because she didn't want her pulse or temperature taken, she crashed in my arms, which she never does. The doc said the excess medicine in her little body caused drowsiness. Fortunately her heart rate was normal and she didn't ingest enough to be toxic.
She is WAY busier than Lily ever was!

Pumpkin carving, covered in goo.

My sis Sariah got a new camera and has been playing with pictures. Here are my little monsters.

Lily chose to be a pink sea star this year. My friend Rochelle helped me sew the felt together and then I glue- gunned everything else on.

In her natural habitat.

Daisy was a lobster and I can't believe she actually wore the costume. She was so scared of it everytime I attempted to try it on her.

Trunk-or-treating at our church.

Enjoying all the hard work.

After Trunk-or-treat we went around our neighborhood with Lily's buddy Bella, she was the cutest Pinnochio.

Holy Cow, I can't believe it is November!
