I hope everyone had a lovey, gushy, schmoopy Valentine's Day! OK, not necessarily gushy but at least told someone that you love them, even your mom!
When I woke up, Sean and Lily had notes written and placed all over; inside the cupboards and on the windows. But I think my favorites were:
The fridge, (upon looking for the milk I found this:
and the toilet. That one was a surprise!
Combine that with a gift card to Olive Garden and I am a happy woman! We actually united with some friends and swapped babysitting so Sean and I were able to go to an early dinner. Chicken with black bean sauce from P.F. Chang's is my new scrumptious favorite! We were done with dinner and wondered what we should do next with our free time. I told Sean I was disappointed there was no scavenger hunt planned for me. HA! Remember those days? On the way back to pick up the kids we remembered we had left some of our dishes at the church from the party the night before and so we stopped to pick them up. Well, there was a whole gym and basketball's waiting to be put to use. Upon kicking his trash in HORSE, (alright so he won, but I gave him a run for his money) I pulled off an amazing shot where I banked it off the rafters of the ceiling and into the basket. We both couldn't believe I made it. But you should have seen Sean imitate my cartwheel shot. I got him on that one. After HORSE we played some pepper with the Volleyball (man I miss that) and hit a few pitches with the bat (no idea there was so much equipment in that gym closet). Anyway, it ended up being so much fun and ALMOST like we were dating again. Thanks to Sarah and Jeff for watching our kids so we could be "spontaneous"!
This was Sean's Valentine. What says 'I love you' more than another Wii remote and date night bank? Yep, just call me gushy!
And of course my little Valentine's

Nothing like feeling loved on the toilet! :) The date bank is a cute idea.
Sounds like a great Valentines Day to me!! Keep up the good work Sean!
How do you use the date bank?
And how fun was your date! Man those times are sooooo precious. I'm glad we're not the only ones that are thrown for a loop when we have free kid-less time!
Love the Date Bank!!! That is a great idea. You guys are the cutest little family!!!!!!! That date sounds so fun.....too bad the church didnt have a trap shooting range and it would have been complete!! haha
love ya!
Oh I love the days that you can be spontaneous with your husband. It feels like your always having so many moments while your dating to be spontaneous, and those go out the window when you have to stick to so many schedules on a day to day basis. I'm happy to have been watching your kids so you could do that. anytime girl anytime.
