Overdue October 2011

The annual Butterfly Parade to welcome the monarchs to Pacific Grove. Lily's 1rst grade class all dressed up as bumblebee's this year.

 Lil with her gal pals Bella, Chloe, and Issy and then Daisy gettin in on the action. 

Sean's dad (Poppas) came to town and he took us to Happy Hollow. 

Kiddie rides and petting zoo, the kids were in heaven.

Then, we took him to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. 

 

and the beach.

Later in the month we hit up Marina Beach for some sand sledding,

 and dune jumping.

As Halloween drew near, Earthbound Farms in Carmel Valley for pumpkins, corn maze, and playing in the gardens.

My gal pal's Sarah, Steph and Jen who was visiting from Utah.

Hopkins Marine Station had a super fun open house. Squid dissection, 

 touch pools (Lily is telling the volunteer that her mom is a marine biologist :) ), shark pinatas, tuna tanks, seminars, 

 and squid painting where you literally paint a squid and stamp it on some paper. 

 Definitely frameable. I think I had more fun then the kids did. 

Halloween rolled around and Lily insisted on being a Sasquatch hunter, 

Daisy a mermaid.
