Swingin'

It has been such a busy day! My friend Sarah and I are planning a baby shower for our friend Karey who is pregnant with a boy and a girl! Sarah works magic with paper and I can't wait to show you her decorations...I digress. So it has been so busy with the shower planning, running errands, trying to fulfill my new secretary role in the Young Women, and putting out prop 8 signs with the youth. (Can I just add, in my stressful state to get TOO much done today, my friend Rochel found me in Micheal's craft store and surprised me with a much needed Dr. Pepper! Gotta love that! Holla Rochel!) Needless to say Lily and Daisy needed to get out and play. We are fortunate to have a great park just a block away from our place and we frequent it often. Lily affectionately calls it caterpillar park.

"Um, Mom, you sure this is ok?"

"I'm trusting you...what's that moving sensation?"

"Hey, I think I might be enjoying this."

"Yep, kickin' my legs, feeling the breeze through my hair."

"Woo Hoo! Faster, faster!"

Of course Lily was close by being very patient waiting for me to push her. I just can't get her to pump her legs and do it herself. Self propulsion comes with time I guess. Until then...UNDERDOG!

I just glanced over at Daisy and she is OUT on the recliner. This is so what I should be doing right now. It is beyond bedtime! Until next time, when is the last time you went swinging? I remember swinging on the swingset in Elementary school and if you got in the same rhythm with someone you would say "get out of my bathtub" or "we're married"! The best was twisting around while on your stomach and getting dizzy! It now makes me a little woozy. I think having babies messed with my equalibrium, unless that just comes with age. Hmmm?

Good night all.

Me three. My boys seriously need some time with their cousins. Not to mention some sister outings would be muy fabulosa. We could wear our big and majestic shirts...

Adorable pictures. Thank you for sharing Daisy's first swing experience. My girls love it but I just get dizzy (although I know that I enjoyed it when I was young).

I still LOVE to swing....and do it whenever I get the chance! No equilibrium probs, but I will keep you posted if it changes when I have kids!
